Navajo portrait

  1. Here's a shot I took of a Navajo woman in traditional dress during a ceremony in Mt. Taylor, New Mexico. I ran a Photoshop brush stroke filter on it to give it a bit of an "effect", does it work?

    Here's with filter:

    And without:

  2. Hi!

I definitely prefer without filter. The filter gives the image that old look. Looks almost scanned...

Anyways, it's only my opinion :)

    Hi Transmit,

My vote is without filter too. The filter makes the image (esp. her face) a little too raw (Pun not intended)

Yeah, me too...w/o the filter....Great shot though...Could be an advert for visiting New Mexico!

  5. The filter doesn't work for me, picture is great.
