Critique Nebraska State Capitol

I just returned from a road trip to South Dakota. My first stop was the Nebraska State Capitol in Lincoln.

Nice images, Glenn! I particularly like the color renditions you have achieved. #3 and 8 are my favs. We were there in May of this year. I found most of the photo ops were looking UP! LOL! VERY interesting ceilings.....

Another wonderful series!

It's interesting that the plaque about Buffalo Bill fails to mention among his many occupations that he was also a real estate developer. Indeed, he is one of the founders of Cody, Wyoming, the town named after him.

Thanks Karen…the ceilings certainly are the highlight. The building is more like a cathedral than a capitol.

Thanks Mike…one of the places I visited was Buffalo Bill’s ranch in North Platte.

Thanks Alex...it is quite unique. It's the only state capitol with a single house system (unicameral), so there's just one legislative chamber. And, it is just one of eleven state capitol buildings without a dome.
