I just returned from a road trip to South Dakota. My first stop was the Nebraska State Capitol in Lincoln.

Here are some images that I captured during this stop:

1- Ceiling in the Great Hall

4- Inner "Dome" of the Capitol from the rotunda floor (the Nebraska Capitol doesn't actually have a dome...it is more of a tower)

Nice images, Glenn! I particularly like the color renditions you have achieved. #3 and 8 are my favs. We were there in May of this year. I found most of the photo ops were looking UP! LOL! VERY interesting ceilings.....

Thanks Karen…the ceilings certainly are the highlight. The building is more like a cathedral than a capitol.
Another wonderful series!

It's interesting that the plaque about Buffalo Bill fails to mention among his many occupations that he was also a real estate developer. Indeed, he is one of the founders of Cody, Wyoming, the town named after him.
Thanks Mike…one of the places I visited was Buffalo Bill’s ranch in North Platte.
Excellent set Glenn. And no people, well timed?
Thanks Ron…there were only a few people in the building. I waited for them to pass occasionally before making an exposure.
