SORRY - to expose my ignorance. :redface:The control pad was on lock.....Nikon Repair must have done it during recent service!

At least that's my answer and I'm sticking to it!

On my D800, I cannot change the focus point from the center. Is there a setting that could be causing this?

I have AF-C,

A1 = focus
A4 = AF-On only (off)
A5 = On
A7 = 11 pts..

Don't feel bad, I did mine at the worst possible time during a model shoot with my D3. The problem was the dial wasn't in the "L" position so when I looked at it I didn't think that was the problem. The pointer was just a few thousandths of an inch off of the unlocked dot making look like it was normal. I didn't discover the cure until the next day. I must have somehow bumped it when I put the camera on the floor to use the other one. Oh, it made for an interesting time for my runway shots.
