It is a Butterfly.
Family: Nymphalidae.
Genus: Vanessa.
Species: cardui

Common Name The Painted Lady.

Thanks for the Help Bob... trying to get a better shot.. where it is more in focus... they are a little shy when you stick the lens at them... but i am sure i will get him or her soon...
