Need help with my Interfit 300i

Hey there. I'm currently shooting with a Nikon D60. My dad gave me his Interfit 300i studio lights. I have two of them and both lights have sync cables that attach to the light and my guess is they should also attach to my camera so I can sync the flashes on the lights with my camera... this is my first time messing with any sort of studio lights and I can't figure out how the cords attach to my camera.

I tried plugging the smaller end of the cable into my V-out port on my D60 but they're too big to plug in. Is there an adapter I need to buy? Anyone know how I can get this all sorted out so I can start learning how to use these lights? I've googled and googled and can't find anything and it's really frustrating me

Thank you in advance

That one looks good, better than many, because it has the shoe clamp on the bottom, to keep it from sliding and losing contact.

I use the Nikon AS-15, similar for about double price, but it has been gold for me.
