Need Help with Shooting a Model

Discussion in 'People' started by allstar25, Jul 7, 2008.

  1. A good friend of mine asked me to take some pictures of him for a portfolio that he is going to turn into a modeling agency. I've never taken pictures of a model before and need all the advice I can get - Lighting, Exposure, background, etc.

He has to turn in 10 different poses with atleast two different backgrounds. Also two nude shots are to be turned in as well. Can someone help me set up this type of shoot.

    THanks,

I can tell you that this 'agency' is completely fake.

No reputable agency will EVER ask for nude photos. Nor will they ask for 10 different poses. Tell your friend to hold onto his wallet because as soon as he turns in his 'portfolio' they are going to tell him that 'these aren't good enough' and that 'their' photographer will shoot his portfolio for $600- $2000 (or more).

Run, run, run, far away from this one would be my suggestion... YMMV.
