Can one of you guys or girls help me out...

I need to clone out a bar in a pic...

The psd is here.... http://donzo98.com/Test Images/Fire006.psd

The bar goes right across my friends face... otherwise it would be a really nice shot.

    Thanks...

    Don,

Greetings. I took a crack at it since I always like a challenge, but, uh, I'm not a retouch pro so someone else out there might be able to help you out. The showstoppers for we were:

    - after mirroring the visible face to try to replace the part behind the pole I realized that even if I could distort the visible face to match the part behind the pole, there would be this unexplainable shadow across a good half of his face not to mention her face and shirt.

-His shirt would be a problem, and then there would be the reconstruction of the poles to look like something that could exist.

It's a nice shot, though flawed. At least for my skills, it isn't something that could be retouched (shocked and amazed if someone could satisfactorily retouch it). Think of it as a great shot of her, maybe?

Sorry, I couldn't be of more help...

    Cheers,

    -Yamo-

    Hi Donzo98

I'm a Long Islander just like you. I grew up in Dix Hills.

Here is my 2 cent retouch
Mainly used the clone tool. Then selective burn dodge, brush etc. I left some of the pole in the picture. Ran out of time :)

Here is the full size tiff if you want to play around with it. Looks better than the animated gif but warning.... its large 21MB
