My D70 is in pristine shape but has about 17K acctuations. My wife's D70 has only 592, yes, only 592 actuations.

Last year I bought a D80 and for some reason, my wife just started using my old D70 and not her nearly new one.

Question...which D70 should we keep and which should we sell? We want to get as much $ as we can to pay for a new lens, but would it be better to keep the nearly new one as 17K actuations is getting up there a bit? She will likely take 3-5K pictures per year.

    Thanks for your input!

the shutter should last well beyond 50,000...

you will get a buyer a lot quicker on the one with less than 1000 shots...

good luck remember we do have a for sale forum on here...I dont know if it is available to you yet you may need more posts.
