Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Czechman01, Jul 19, 2007.

  1. Yea, yea, I know you can get them elsewhere but I figure I'd ask here in case anyone had one laying around that they wanted to unload cheap.

Oh, it's gotta' be realistic and not some styrofoam cheap thing. I run a classy operation you know

You might try Dr. William Bass, world renouned forensics specialist from Univ of TN, who also happens to run the "Body Farm". Wait, that could be a little TO realistic.

and go to the Halloween shop

For a real one you will need a license and it will take me a little longer to find the catalog and address

Hey Guys.... I am a neurosurgeon and occasionally we need to make implants for patients with skull defects. The company we use sends us a model of the skull and the proposed implant. I happen to have two of them in my office right now. I'm not sure if that will be adequate... but they are here for Woody if he wants them.:biggrin:

    ha, funny Ken.

Don, I think mine is missing the grey matter inside, you got a company to take care of that problem?
  17. This is great... somehow I knew this thread would take a turn for the better.

I have a few in the back yard. Let me go dig them up...
Mine is being used, you can't have it.
  19. I heard about that place! Isn't that where they leave corpses laying around on the grounds so they can analyze the way they decay?

The things people will do to get a grant!

Here's one at Carolina Biological Supply. If this doesn't fit your budget they have some less expensive (and less realistic).
