I just picked up a Nikon Coolpix AW110. I wanted a little point and shoot that was waterproof for those occasions when the DSLR would be a bit too bulky and might get water damaged in whatever activity I was into at the time. These are the first pics from a walk this morning. I still have to tweak the settings a bit and get used to the menus. Over-all, I'm fairly impressed with the image quality and versatility of this little camera. These are all straight out of the camera. I just added my watermark and resized for the web. No other edits. Let me know what you think. (I think with a few tweaks, these might be some nice images.)

Beautiful, Mike...!

Those cameras are absolutely great if you want large DOF, especially when doing
close-ups and landscapes... Image quality is right up there too...

More than nice, Mike; these are fabulous! Thanks for showing these; I may have to look into this camera!
Thanks Lyndee. I've kinda had it in the back of my mind, that I wanted a W/P P&S for a while. A very wet kayak trip earlier this week convinced me of the "need".

Thank you William. I am impressed with the image quality of this camera. I've used other W/P cameras that didn't seem to measure up.
