Thanks for the comments. You're right Allan. They can be extremely quick but it has been good fun trying to track this bird and also the peregrine owned by the second guy. I have to say that it's a lot more satisfying getting a decent in-flight shot than just pics of the birds in hand or on the ground. Thanks again to Randy and billtils for their tips. And - the D7200 is no slouch. I had been thinking of going for a D500 before trying this type of shot but now I'm not sure I need to.
