Ricci (a Nikon trainer in the UK and YouTuber) just posted a nice video on the new, higher capacity, El-En-15c battery.
Short summary:
The new battery is compatible with the range of cameras (DLSR and ML) which currently use the El-En-15 line.
The extended battery life looks to be fairly significant.
The battery will charge the Z5 in camera, even while in operation, but unfortunately, not the Z6/Z7. Someone in the comments asked if maybe a firmware update would fix that issue, he said he thought it was a hardware issue and thus doubtful. Note that while he works with Nikon, his comments do not represent Nikon officially.
