  8. Thanks for the link, those images really do tell the story don't they?

    Here in Washington State we have quite a bit of farm land that is in flood basins. During the winter it is not unusual to see homes, built on raised foundations, that are completely surrounded by water. And there are pads put out for cattle just so that can be above the water. While we see this, and can plan for it most times, seeing what the "unexpected" from Mother Nature can do is quite sobering, and should be a lesson to us all to listen, learn and prepare.
