New Satellite Service - Wild Blue

  1. Well - I am researching the satellite internet thing.

Came across a new one called "Wild Blue". It uses the Ka-Band and is suppose to provide a more reliable and slightly faster connection than DirecWay.

It is slightly cheaper than DirecWay. $499.99 installed vs $599.99 and $49.99 vs $59.99 a month. DirecWay does have a rebate right now so install is about the same.

Called my local dealer and put my name on the list.

The official launch of this service is Sept. 05 but, here they are already installing and I have about a 2-3 week wait.

I still can change my mind but, probably gonna go for it.

    I will post a mini-review if/when I get it.

If you are interested go here:

    Thanks Mark,

just passed this link onto my sis, who lives out in the sticks, and is always complaining about her slow dialup speeds.
