Just upgraded my "walk-around" lens to the 18-70mm and I've been pretty impressed so far. Here are a couple I shot from yesterday in Winter Park, FL

    CC welcome

  2. Looks like you will be doing just fine with your new walk about lens. I had two that I wish I never sold. Maybe 3rd one is my future.

  3. I like you 1st shot, This is a great lens, somehow I have managed to get two of them.

  4. Very nice. I have an 18-70mm and also find it to be a great performer.

Haven't used mine in a long time. I prefer the pop of my prime over this zoom. The 18-70 is very fast for focus but found the colors to be not as good as the 35F2. The rendering of my photos seem to be closer to what I was looking for with the prime. I wish my 35 had the focusing speed and accuracy of my 18-70.

Thanks for the kind words.

I can hear you here. I found it hard to take the 50mm f/1.8 off the camera, and its back on again now, lol.
