This Heron appeared unexpectedly, first millisecond I thought it's another gull, but then raised my 300/4 and fired a 7 shot burst.
To my amasement it was a very rare (here) Night Heron, whom I never saw before...
This is my 90th wild bird specie photographed!

    Hi Phillip,
    thanks for the comment.
    Shot with 30D + 300/4L IS + TC14, processed (minimal) in RawShooter.

  7. Great capture! The images look a little noisy - easily fixed with Neat Image. Congratulations!!

    Best,

    Jose

Thanks Jose, noise comes from sharpening and ISO400, when I print them, I'll reduce the noise for sure.

  9. WOW, Igor these are all beautiful! Congrats on your mile stone of 90 species! That's awsome!

    Igor :

Nice shot of an interesting bird ! BCNHs are relatively common over in the US, but they're fascinating birds to shoot.

Thanks John, our NH's are also considered to be common, but it's the first time I saw one!
