  3. Whoa, you just proved that horses really are in mid air when running! Oh wait, they proved that years ago didn't they?

    Nice pic! Great lens!

  4. Nice photo, no doubt the lens is a winner

  5. Very cool!

  6. Thank you.

Yes, cloudy with nice subject colors. I will probably keep the F4 Randy. Might come in handy even though I will be eventually breaking in the my F 2.8.

    Thanks Jonathan. BTW, I bought the 300 F 2.8...I did call you didn't I?

    Mike

    Thank you Charles.

Incredible! Nice to see what the 300 f/4 is capable of. Gets me psyched since I am renting once next week!

  8. I love that photo. Why didn't you use the 300 f2.8?

  9. Thank you & good luck.

As Randy pointed out, great shot with all 4 legs off of the ground. One of the better horse racing shots I have seen lately.

This lens is fantastic. Great pic!
    Cheers

  12. Great shot. I love my 300/4 (my main birding lens). Would love to afford a 300/2.8 but can't complain on the versatility, IQ, and weight of this lens.

  13. Thank you Al.
Took this shot about a month ago. Looking forward to my new 2.8.

    Much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Thank you. Agree about this lens.
