Yes, it looks he got one offer already. I wonder how much the offer is.

I know I wouldn't want to be near an airport with that beast as security might mistake it for a shoulder fired rocket launcher.:eek:

I wonder how is the IQ on (from) that thing?
Would it be cheaper to put D700 on a telescope or TC-20 on some 600mm lens?

Although, I would not want to wear a beard and some rug top near this lens (not to mention near an airport). :biggrin:

I doubt that it would be purchased for practical photography. With only like 30 made it would be a collectors item. And really, the price isn't all that bad, $13000 wouldn't get you a 300 f/2. But as you pointed out there are far more practical and better ways to get to 1200mm.
