Nikkor 50/1.4 joins for dinner

    My wife and me had a welcome guest at the dinner table..the nikon 50/1.4.
    It was a candlelight affair ( mostly ).

    I actually made a soft audible "oooh" when I opened this thread. I don't do that often. The colors are quite striking.

    I am glad you liked the image. Agree with you, the colors came out
    quite well.

    Phil,

    Thank you . The image was grainy to start of with. The blue was provided
    by the huge window overlooking the sea. the interior provided the
    warmth. The glass reflects the window and its colors.

    Like I always do, took 2 layers, blended them with opacity to taste.
    I purposely sharpened the image, after cropping for web, to give it
    a very rough noisy structure.

    Explaining takes more time than actually doing it. Sharpened with
    the high pass filter and faded for luminosity.

    no filters. only ps as mentioned previously.
