Nikkor 55/3.5 AI micro is a gem!

Discussion in 'Lens Lust' started by Pa, Aug 8, 2009.

  1. I just got this lens yesterday and took it out for a spin today. On the D90, everything must be set manually, of course, but I had fun doing it and finding that I could guess right on the exposure pretty often.

My specialty is wildflowers, but there are very few of those out now - so, I had to content myself with fungi. At least they hold still!

I don't like eating those things, much less looking at them, but those are cool!

    Nice shrooms, Jim!
I've had an ai'd 55 micro for a few years. I think the 55 micros are marvelous lenses and great bargains.

  5. Thanks, all. I'm sure I will enjoy using it.

  6. I bought mine in 1977. What took you so long?

    Nice shots
