I thought I would post some photos from this lens.
It's a super sharp lens, great color. If you like to shoot bugs it's a little tough to sneak up on them b/c of the short focal length but it's also fantastic for portraits as well. I've used it on the D300 and now the D700. It's magic on both :)

I love these a lot. A macro lens is a must-have, and you've done it justice. Nice work.

  4. Lisa....
you are making me want to use my 60/2.8 once again
a lens NOT known for its nice bokeh.... you proved that wrong in IMAGE # 1
    these are terrific

this IS the "OLD" version... and not the new one... right?

This is the 60mm AF Micro Nikkor. I bought it in April. Not sure if it's the old one??

Very well done. I had this lens for a while and just loved it. I used it mostly for portraits as it was one of the sharpest lenses I've ever used and certainly had its own character. Love your work and can't wait to see more!
