Great shot, was this capture made close to the minimum focus? Holy thin depth of feild:smile: Do you have any other example showing this lens Bokeh?
Very cute baby and great shot!
Is it hard to focus with that lens?
Hey Peter -
Nice work - and beautiful niece.
Was this on a tripod, or was there a lot of light?
I love mine too!
All @ f/2.8
Stopping down a little bit, helps to get a better (more creamy) bokeh.
Sickboy: Thanks for posting some examples. Very nice capture's. So the bokeh gets better stopped down a stop. Sweet glad to know. Iv got a Nikkor 105 1.8 AIS coming from a cafe member in about a week. Off to spend time with my kids.
here is another image from two days ago showing some creamy boke wide open:
Thanks for nice comments. It was hand held in open shade on a bright day with lots of light.
Thanks Mark, Rane, Brian.
