The FT1 firmware upgrade works well on the Nikon 1 V1.

With the Nikon 70-200 mm f/2.8 VR II lens plus the Nikon 1.4X teleconverter

Love those shots Jerry. I'm really happy Nikon help us out with this firmware. Hope they let us turn the review off with the next firmware release. (fingers crossed)

Turn of the review

That is an issue when I try to shoot a burst mode and follow the flying bird. If the view was not too tight I was able to continue to pan and get a few acceptable captures.

I was going to post the question to see if anyone knew how to turn it off.

I don't think there's a way unless you buy the V2.

Hopefully a future FW fixes that!

I don't think that will happen. V1 got updated because of the FT-1 not because Nikon wants to update the V1. Then again we will never know and like everyone else I wish the review can be turned off too.
