I think I want this lens....

  9. Tasty series, love that lens! A Canon 72mm 500D will fit with hood extended to get
some near macro use out of it. Very versatile chuck of glass.

I've heard about the 500D, now that I know its a good match for the 180mm I'm gonna have to try it out. I love how sharp and contrasty this lens is. Do you have any pics using it on the 180mm?
    -Kent

Its a great deal for a f2.8. I picked this one up on Craigs list for $375.

Wow, thanks for the kind comment! -Kent

    Thank you! -Kent

Thanks Randy, I'm also with you on that third pic.
Of course I really wanted the 70-200mm f2.8 but I'm saving up for a 200-400 f4. The 180mm gets me where I need to be in lower light settings and I didn't have to take a big hit in my savings fund.

Thanks! I agree, I'm really impressed with its image quality. -Kent

Why thank you! You should treat yourself to one. Indulge, nobody needs to know

    Thanks Anthony!

Yes they were! I had Blueberries on Vanilla ice cream last night and again on yogurt today for lunch.  -Kent

  15. Ok showing these photos from this nice lens is tempting me more than I need to be at the moment! I do like the bee shot above, but the blueberries one are very good.

  16. ITS BERRY GOOD!
