This lens is a beast. Especially coming from M43. It dwarfs the lenses all the M43 crowd thinks are big and I do want to buy a smaller telephoto for travel, but I love that it goes to 500. And I love the results when I do my part.

Really a nice set of images. The woodpecker is really excellent. Nice perch, complimentary BG, and great techs.

Typically I'm not a fan of shots from below but in the case of the hawk this one works IMO. Just enough variation in the complimentary color BG to give it some character but no distractions. The angle isn't too extreme and that eye peering down at the camera is awesome as is the detail on the bird. Really nice.

Great detail on the kingfisher with a perfect eye and the crest.

Overall well done.
