Very nice Arnie. I didn't know your first name is Arnold :D
Is this from your backyard? Did you receive your new 300 f/4 PF VR yet?
I am tempted by the new lens.. but someone at FM just posted a FS ad for a Zeiss 135/2 Apo Sonnar and that took my attention. I am THIS close to getting the Zeiss....

Well, Joseph, so now you know. :sneaky: But please feel free to call me "Arnie" or "Ariel". As yet, I have not secured the 300 f/4 PF VR; I am disappointed to say the least. Were I in your shoes, I would defer the Z 135 till another day and go for the 300mm...given you efforts with the "older" version of the 300mm a few months back and the plethora of birding in the Socal area, it will not fall short of usage.(y) Yes, the shot is from the yard.

Looks like it's been a while since this lens was used.
I suppose lots of people upgraded to the PF version :)
Upgrading isn't really my thing. As long as something works as expected, it remains good enough for me.
