I actually like the look of silver lenses on a black body :smile:

Guess I learned to appreciate that on Pentax with their silver lenses.

I tried to take a picture of the D700 with this lens but that didn't go well with my p&s.
Product photography is not my thing, it seems :smile:

Yes, re-post some here. I will also post some more and get a shot of the lens on my D600 as well.

This is too nice a lens not to have its own thread.

It's such a good lens that it can even get you good images from Canon DSLRs. :wink: :biggrin:

I've owned a black and a silver copy of the 45P. It's a nice lens and certainly unique.
There were a lot of threads about and images from the 45P and the very similar CV 40/2 about 4 years ago.

I especially like the colours I get from this lens and the 'natural' field of view.
