Definitely looking forward to seeing what it'll do. My main reason for this lens is to shoot nesting birds in the next few months. But it should be good for year round backyard birds and who knows what else. I'll probably need to go a little stronger with support. I'm now using a nice Markins ballhead.Congrats Bobby...I'm glad to see this lens will go to good use. Can't wait to see what you are able to create with it!
But you know I'll try.it's better than the g, noticeably better (balance mostly and weight, IQ is a wash) BUT it's not HHable for anything more than a few shots, but a whole day in the water it's just too big. A place like north beach needs a tripod and gimbal for this lens but.....
