I have just bought a Nikkor Micro 60mm f/2.8 for a good friend of mine from a Cafe member (thanks again Louis Champan!). My friend is on vacation and I asked him if I could try out the lens a bit when it arrived. I have just shot a few flowers with it and lemme tellya: this lens rocks! I can already feel the need to get myself one also....
I understand that this sharp lens is great for portraits and other close-up work as well.
My question to you:
Post some of your best pictures with this lens (and only this lens), so that I can further develop my desire to get one  Thanks!

No problem, Greg. If I couldn't take a punch, I'd have to stop handing them out .

I'm going to track you to see how the superzoom works out for someone with your discerning eye. It'll be an interesting test.

I retracted it because I felt bad........ not for ribbing you mind you, but because I was picking on the guy and I don't even know him.

I'll keep you posted. This will be a real test of my fortitude.

nice stuff connie!! Carpenters????
LOL! Thanks, Dave! Guess I should explain... That last image was shot for a specific challenge in my women's photography group, where we were to present an image for the concept "Remember when....?" After thinking about it for a few days I was struck by inspiration while listening to some music on my iPod. Grabbed the camera, slipped the 60mm lens on it, found an album to stick on the long-unused turntable and voila! Chose the Carpenters because, well, yeah, I'm a long-time C's fan, but also thought it would be appropriate, since it's been a good 30-plus years since they were at their peak. Not to mention that I don't have that many vinyl albums any more!
