nikon 80-200af

Hi all iv'e just got the above lens (not new) after reading many posts on here how good this is, i have it mounted on my d300, only thig i don't understand is the aperture ring by the lens mount if i unlock this and rotate it EEE shows on display

Don't unlock & rotate the apreture ring. Change apreture in camera.

As David said leave the ring locked in position and enjoy 80-200 goodness :biggrin:

I believe the only time you can unlock the ring and adjust the aperture is if you put your camera in Manual mode but in any other mode that ring needs to be locked.

Backwards compatability with older Nikon cameras. Also it means you can use it with manual extension tubes.
