Thank you Stephanie :) she was just being her silly self running around in the yard, if you look closely she had a leaf in her right hand up against her neck, not sure what she was doing with it though.

That is some new toy  I have yet to see a TT RS in person but have a friend who drove one for a weekend during an Audi TT event last year, she drives a very worked mk1 TT and said that RS was a beast (she wanted to sneak it home with her but the Audi rep was too close behind ).

A few from yesterday's parade, all with a cp filter, first wide open, next 2 at f/2

Lovely samples, Jon! - Have to relearn to use my 85/1.4D, now on FX. - Loved it on my D200 (which I no longer have), now its actual FL feels a bit too 'short', so I am currently trying to recreate my attitude regarding how to use this wonderful lens on my D700.

Thanks Rixxie. I found I had the opposite result when I went to the D700 from my D90, suddenly the 85mm was so much more versatile and useful, it opened a whole new dimension to the lens that made me fall in love all over again :) I'm sure you'll have a similar experience after a little while.

Already posted these pics in an other thread but as they where all shot with the 85mm f1.4D they belong here as well.

Thanks you MMRadman.
Next time I would also bring a zoom, it was so crowded, most of the pics where made close by. I had 90% head shots and that was really a waste at this event.

Revisiting old thread... i still love this lens, there is strong purple fringing at wide apertures, especially more evident when I'm using the D800E, other than that it is still one of my favorite lenses. It's also my telephoto lens for travel (2 lens combo with the 24mm 1.4).

Here are some from Turkey:
