very nice skin tone for D610! Perfect actually :)

Does the G version focus better than the old AF (D) version? I like the size of the old model as it fits in my front pocket sometimes when I need it. Is it sharper wide open also?

Thank you all :)

I had D version before wich I replaced with G one. For me 85/1.8G is better in every aspect. Contrast, colors, sharpness - I'm happy with them all. I don't really see the difference in af speed as I don't use it for sport photography. Both of them might be too slow for kids though ;)

How do you edit a post? Just wanted to add this: This was for his upcoming album. He's been on MTV and is one of the hardest working people I know (he's a director of sales at a multi billion dollar IT company as well)

Thank you. Probably my most successful one to date. I was feeling silly taking 80 shots in a row but at least I could let them relax while I was doing it :)

So I would like to ask a question. I got a new 85 f1.8G a few days ago and it front focuses. I set the fine tune to +20 which is the max my camera will allow. IS that to much or don't worry about it as long as it is set correctly? all my other lenses require no adjustment on me D750.

My 85/1.8G requires little or no correction on any of my fx bodies. I'd think about an exchange if it's not too late.
