Nikon AF DC-NIKKOR 105mm f/2 D

I bought this lens several years back and I really haven't played with it much so since I got the D850 a couple months ago I've been digging out some of my good lenses to play with on it. Another one is the 85 1.4 and my 60 mm and the original 70-200 VR and of my favorite zoom lens the 80-400 which the last time I tried to use this lens on my D3s, something happened to my camera but I think it was really the heat outside that did it. But getting back to this 105, it's needless to say one of the most different lens I have ever owned. Sharp as a tack and it's made out of all metal instead of plastic made in China. Well worth the money. I've never seen this in a lens before. It also defocuses which I'm still learning what all this means. I will post some pictures as soon as I get something semi worth to showing.
