    Hi everybody,

I am confused. I heard from some sources that not all lenses, even Nikon lenses, fit to Nikon D60. I want to buy one but I am afraid that smth can be wrong. If is it written on the lens AF-S, it should fit? no? Help, please. Thanks

AF-S will fit on the D60. In fact these lenses are the only one that will Autofocus on the d60.

  3. not all will autofocus, since the D60 has no internal focus motor. non AFS lenses should still fit, just u will have to MF

If you're happy with third party optics the Sigma HSM series will also autofocus

The D60 will "fit" nearly every Nikon F-mount lens back to 1959. But it will only autofocus with AF-S lenses that have a motor built into the lens. I have a D40 with the same issue, but haven't really found it to be limiting. I do have some fairly nice lenses though.

    Thank you all guys

  8. You're getting good advice here, but to make it as simple as possible: almost any Nikon lens will mount and work on the D60, but only lenses labeled AF-S will autofocus.
