This goes into the 10 pin remote socket and provides GPS data for your shots. I had to sand down one corner of it to make one particular lens clear but fortunately the plastic housing was thick enough to allow the modification. I did go a touch too far but that was never a problem. It's essentially a freebie ad-on being included AS IS.

Front, back, top, sides of the body are really clean. I'll say a 9. The bottom has some rub marks on it and a short split in the ruibber. I'll call the bottom a 7. Stick a bracket on it and none of that matters. Since the bottom is where the wear is I have included shots of that.

I have included a few photos I took with this camera in Germany last summer. 720nm does a good job of turning foliage very bright. It also cuts through haze very well. The shot of the castle against the vineyards was shot down river at 200mm and then cropped in. I was shooting into the sun and the haze was very heavy. The IR helped really cut through the haze. Normal camera attempts at the shot were totally worthless.

I have been switching to all mirrorless and I now have a new Z6 that I had Kolarivision convert so this D800 IR has to go.

At $750 it's below other D800 IR conversions I have seen and those were just for the body, so I am not accepting offers below the asking price at this time.
