My girlfriend has some cameras & gear she inherited. This is one of them & I have been trying to identify it for sure & see what its worth. Could you please advise me on it?
Nikon F
Ser #6911315
Great condition, was used frequently from what I was told

She has a big list (at least I think a big list) of cameras & gear!

I've found out a few prices on items in the list, but can't find out everything. She wants to get an idea of what everything is worth & just sell it as a package deal. She is not interested in taking the time to post on Ebay & sell piece by piece. Could anyone help out with this? I got a few prices from Grays of Westminster, but other pieces they need to see to price. She doesnt want to ship it to England & then find out if its worth it. I've attached the list, if anyone can help out, thanks!

I suggest visiting the KEH web site. They are probably the top name on this side of the pond for used photography gear, and I believe they typically offer about half of the used retail value (their price to the public) when they are on the buying side of the transaction. I believe you can get quotes from them online.

You enter in the item in their website and they give you a quote based on your description.

The KEH website isn't really set-up to handle these kinds of estate lots though. You'll go crazy, though you might want to enter a couple of the items just to get a sense of how they price items they buy. I suggest calling them up and talking to them since you have the spread-sheet. I believe you can ship the lot to them and they'll come back with an offer which you can either accept or reject. If you reject it, they will return the lot. They'll give you a range of prices online or over the phone because they'll need to inspect each item before they make a guaranteed offer.

As mentioned above, they'll pay you about half of what they determine they can sell it for. You can ask for more through a private sale (and you may get it) but my experience is that private sales are usually for less than KEH listed price. The reason is that they are a well respected company with very conservative ratings. Plus you get a 6 month warranty from them.

Thanks!
Yeah I saw that on their website. She just wants to get rid of it all at once & not go through the sell each piece thing. I emailed them, well see what they say. I just want to find a reasonable price for this stuff, so she knows she is getting what she should.
