Nice work Robert S. That's great subject matter for the 50mm @ f/1.2. Don't you just love using this lens

Here's a couple of my darling wife. 1st with the 50mm @ f/1.2 and the second of the 50mm on an FM2 taken with the 105 1.8 @ f/1.8. My two favourite lenses.

shtarka1 - I think you are going to like your new 105mm.

David, fantastic shots. It’s amazing how two different photographers can see the same events in a different way. Very cool. I hope we can get together for another photo safari (great term, Steve) in the near future.

Steve, amazing Noct shot. It's got the glow. I still can't believe you let me have your lens. Just so you know, I use it every day and I treasure it not only for its unique signature but most of all because it used to be yours. Thanks again pal.

Robert, great shots with the 50 1.2. Forget the notion that the 50 1.2 is the poor man’s Nocturnal. It's a fantastic lens in its own right and you’re doing some great work with yours.

Nikkor 58 1.2 Nocturnal

One of my students who owns a martial arts studio in Calgary told me that this is the last year there will a printed "Yellow Pages."

Thanks Steve, actually I meant waiting to see your first post on this thread. At least the first one I'm aware of.

Thanks Dean, and I do love this lens. In close and at f/1.2 it takes a little patience of which I have little. Great shots of your pretty wife....

Nikkor 58 1.2 Nocturnal

Thanks Gregory. I'd love to have a "real" 58 Noct, but it's $3,500. It really does do some magical things especially in the night time (nocturnal) mode.

Wow, you guys are awesome!

You've inspired me to go out and shoot, or at least maybe post some old MF stuff.

Can't wait Nancy, La Jolla is a photographers paradise. I hear MTV (yuk) is going to be doing some filming of the next episode of "real world" in La Jolla starting later this month.

Hey Robert! I lived in Vista for 14 years, and North County ain't bad. I'll be sure to watch out for the Real World folk. No doubt they'll run from my scary old lenses (and even scarier old cars).

Here are some LJ shots from the previously-uploaded pile. Haven't posted here in ages!

Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 AIs + 4X B+H ND filter.

Those are all excellent Nancy, don't stay away so long. I especially like the one of San Diego with TJ in the background. Very rare sight.

Nancy, great to see you back again. Love the ocean shots.

Robert, great compression and composition on the last one.

Brad, your work is always awesome, but that last set is exceptional.
