I know moon shots are a dime-a-dozen, but I wanted to give it a whirl with the Baby Z. It did pretty well for my purposes.

Not the prettiest of birds, but I continue to be amazed at the sharpness with TCs. This was hand-held with the Z6, 70-200 f/2.8 VR, and TC-17E II.

Here's me trying something outside my comfort zone. I've got a lot to learn here! :)
I was trying out a PlatyPod to get the camera down low to the ground.

Oh my that is a beauty (the1.7xTC) image shot by Phil. The body literally glows with the soft pastel colors. Excellent image for sure.
You are very kind, Gordon. I sure appreciate it.
Here's another test shot with the 1.7x on the Z6. I know, "feeder shots...."

Nice. How do you like the Platypod?
Hi Terri.

I absolutely love it! I liked it so much, I bought a 2nd one for my wife.
I chose the PlayPod Max, for both of us and got the accessory kits for each one.
I also bought one set of the articulating arms to hold light cubes. I already have a couple Litra's. As I delve deeper into some macros stuff, this will be a really neat setup. :)

I'd never heard of the PlatyPod until today. But after watching YouTube videos from Scott Kelby, PhotoJoseph, and one other guy, I think I'm convinced. I may buy one.
