I drove from Urnäsch (holiday location) to Schwägalp Pass (cable car station for Säntis, highest peak in the Alpstein massive). There is a car charging station I wanted to use, as there aren't any in Urnäsch and it offered the opportunity to go for a scienic walk, 45min. After that walk, several photo stops and a coffee in the restaurant, I was ready to go back: Topped up to drive from Urnäsch to Grindelwald, on Saturday - we change holiday destination then.
Car charging station = Tesla?

I keep telling myself that I don't need the 85S. But every time I see some images taken with that lens I find there is something special about it . .

It's a public charger, there. No Tesla chargers nearby (Destination Charger these would be called). There are SuperChargers on my planned route I could stop at, for the longer trip - but it is possible to go to Grindelwald nonstop, so I am independent now.

Oh the 85 S .... :)

I'm a Tesla owner too. If you have the right car usage pattern to suit an EV, then I'd heartily recommend it. I've done lots of long drives now in my Tesla, incl two return trips to Germany from the UK with a big trailer on the back!

Very usable given the intense light: .jpg out of camera, snapbridge, slight cropping on the mobile phone. Easy to be sent.

Same "processing" , but almost no cropping other than shortening the longer frame side for better aspect ratio.

I love these primes. I took the 24-70 with me for the ongoing holidays, but I'm just no zoom guy. Oh, and Chubby...

Grindelwald, evening views from holiday flat. All .jpg straight from Z 6, SnapBridge transfer to mobile phone @ 2 MP, cropped on one side for aspect ratio (no other cropping).

// off topic (no Z pic): the bigger ones prepared presents for the new first graders, containing everything you need: scissors, eraser, pens and pencils, sharpener, ruler... all packed up in a big pencil:

(image shot by my wife with her smartphone. We were both allowed in the class room, wearing masks of course. Happy enough to be there )

But how cute is she - she’s gorgeous!! And she looks as though she’s really enjoying herself. I love the photos!! ❤
