Nikon Z Pics Thread

I drove from Urnäsch (holiday location) to Schwägalp Pass (cable car station for Säntis, highest peak in the Alpstein massive). There is a car charging station I wanted to use, as there aren't any in Urnäsch and it offered the opportunity to go for a scienic walk, 45min. After that walk, several photo stops and a coffee in the restaurant, I was ready to go back: Topped up to drive from Urnäsch to Grindelwald, on Saturday - we change holiday destination then.

I keep telling myself that I don't need the 85S. But every time I see some images taken with that lens I find there is something special about it . .

It's a public charger, there. No Tesla chargers nearby (Destination Charger these would be called). There are SuperChargers on my planned route I could stop at, for the longer trip - but it is possible to go to Grindelwald nonstop, so I am independent now.

Oh the 85 S ....

I'm a Tesla owner too. If you have the right car usage pattern to suit an EV, then I'd heartily recommend it. I've done lots of long drives now in my Tesla, incl two return trips to Germany from the UK with a big trailer on the back!

Very usable given the intense light: .jpg out of camera, snapbridge, slight cropping on the mobile phone. Easy to be sent.

Same "processing" , but almost no cropping other than shortening the longer frame side for better aspect ratio.

Yes I got a copy of Chubby 1 long time ago and never regretted it. I have several images in this thread that were shot with it. I really shines compared to the D3 (and even D750) times due to AF accuracy on the Z system.

Grindelwald, evening views from holiday flat. All .jpg straight from Z 6, SnapBridge transfer to mobile phone @ 2 MP, cropped on one side for aspect ratio (no other cropping).

After 3 days now, it's still great fun! She can't wait to leave the house in the morning and talks precociously as if she had been going for 3 years ...
