For anyone curious about what max iso looks like on the Z6 here is a real life example.
It was still dark when I took this. This would normally end up in the trash bin but I ran it through Denoise and here's what iso 51,200 looks like. Pixel peepers need not apply. It's pretty ugly at 100%

I just tried the new Sky Replacement in the latest PS.
It's so easy, EVEN I can do it! Honestly, I have ZERO PS skills.

"Before image" was basically a throw away.

I'm probably so far behind the times, it's laughable. Prior to this, I have never even tried to replace a sky. Lol!

due to reasons i could not sleep so went out to experiment with a few settings.
Nikon z50 with sigma 18-35 F1.8 art
not perfect but not bad

I think I actually prefer the pre-replacement image, which is quite outstanding and not at all a throwaway. For me, the replaced sky is a distraction that detracts from the dramatic image of the hawk. But that's just me.

I imagine that conducting a search on the Internet will return a number of articles about how to do it including stuff produced by Adobe and DxO. EDIT: Skylum, not DxO.
