Honeylocust tree's thorns.
Those are some nasty looking thorns Jon, I hope I never have a run in with one of these plants. I like the bokeh as well.
Thanks. Those are huge thorns and they really hold on to the tree well so it's not like you can just brush them off the tree. They're on to stay.
