Shot with my D700. 16-35vr 2 sec exposure @ f/22. Hoya 8x ND, B&W circ/polarizer. My bag as a tripod because my day was planned for candid street work. I couldn't not take the shot, right ? Software used: Lightroom 3, SilverEfex Pro 2 & Focal Point.

So, I guess I SHOULD know this, but I'm going to ask anyway...

The amount of blur in the background changes a pretty good bit, from nearly in focus near the water line on the right to completely blurred toward the left. Is that done in PP or is that some trick I REALLY need to learn for shooting? Because that is an AWESOME effect.

Incredible shot, regardless of how you did it. It's truly captivating.

It's from the program Focal Point.

Thanks again for the feedback.
