Spring was arriving, but remnants of cold remained. The 85/1.4 took all
    of this in its stride.

    Thanks for looking.

  2. Nice shot but I hate being reminded that mine has still not arrived.

  3. Beautiful shot...but it's 90 degrees here. Spring has sprung.

  4. Very pretty, the lens has done you proud.

    Tas,
Very nice image of a spring-hungry landscape. I was so hungry for spring this year that I began shooting the emerging flower buds just to affirm that the season was actually changing!

It finally came the beginning of May. For the last few days it has been in the 80's.

It will eventually happen for you, too. Don't give up hope!

    God bless.
    Doug

30degree C plus humidex today and worse tomorrow.
Seems we never get spring here anymore, just winter and then blazing hot with days upon days of smog alert.

I'll take some of your late spring anyday.

    Edward,

I walked in a few moments ago from the outside and as I write this
my car temp. in the shade was indicating 43 degrees C. This is comparatively
    mild for me!

    Doug,

Nice of you to pen a response. this pic was taken in bergen,norway..1/2 may/2007. we had just cruised down norway from the north ( arctic ) and
arriving in the south was really welcome.

i am back home now and normal temp at this time is moderate at 43 degrees
celcius. in summer we touch 50/51 degrees C in the afternoons.
luckily where i live there is no humidity.

    Take care and God bless.

  13. I like this shot, the 85 f/1.4 is a great lens, well done.... Were just going into winter, well it is the 1st day of winter today (1June), and its predicted to be raining all weekend, so I guess a lot of time indoors....:frown:
