Perhaps old news here....but I just found it a few days ago and it works really well.

PictureCode has released a plug in for Aperture. Noise Ninja has been my preferred noise reduction software for a few years now. Having directly available in Aperture is pretty sweet.

Details are here: http://www.picturecode.com/news.htm#MacIntel

hmm looking at screenshots of it, the imagenomics noiseware looks alot better, removes more noise, but its kinda advanced, so it takes time to figure out the best way to remove noise without messing up the quality

I can't speak for Noiseware, or for the NN Aperture plugin specifically, but I can say that NN is an excellent noise reduction program. And yes - even with a D3 - I still use it . . .

is this better than imagenomic's noiseware remover? because that is an awesome program that really works

Yes... I own them all...Noise Ninja, Neat Image, Bibble Pro, Image, etc etc etc

It would seem noise software should be obsolete by now....

You would think so, but not true for me yet. Fine line cleanups at ISO 1600 & 3200 are still a requirement for my indoor sports.

...and I use it with my MKIIn & with some of the files I had from my now returned MKIII
