  1. These guys sure are elusive around where I live. Finally managed to get a decent shot today.

Same here Mao,you did very well on your opportunity to get this very fine capture.
  4. Really nice shot of that Norther Harrier Mao. I have yet to get a good BIF shot of one. They never fly close here.
  5. Excellent shot as usual! You must be feeling rewarded
since you finally got a good shot of this bird.
    Thanks for sharing.
  6. Terrific shot Mao. What, do you have these guys on a string or something? Jim and I are going to have to try something different this fall, because we've just not been able to get anywhere near close to these birds. Well done as usual.

Incredible shot Mao. I've been stalking a couple a Harriers near me for what seems like months now (actually about a week) and have never been able to get close enough. Such an elusive, and evasive bird. That is just a wonderful shot.

  8. Nice capture! Like the eye contact.

Nice capture. They are difficult birds to take pictures of.
  11. Thanks Dave.

    Thanks Tim.

We have the same problem here James. Sometimes we get lucky when we're tucked in and in full camo.

    Thanks Hide.

Thanks Louis. Actually a large bungee cord but after awhile we got tired of cloning them out so we use wireless transmitters now.

Thanks Thomas. Long time no see.

Thanks Caleb. They sure are elusive.

    Thanks Allan.

Thanks Steve and hope you get lots of pictures of them. I haven't found a male this year.

    Beautifull shot.......

We see Red Tail Hawks fairly often in Southern Ontario, sometimes you'll see them sitting on a fence post along side of a highway.

Elusive? It is hard to elude an 800mm lens. What a great shot!

Sweet! That's an image for the printer.
  19. Thanks Joe. Red Tails haven't been around too much in our area until recently. They're comfortable until you stop and as soon as you open the car door, they're gone.

    Thanks Steve.

    Thanks Phil.

Thanks Jessie. It's more that they know you're there and they go the opposite end.

    Thanks Frank.

Thanks Holmes. Yup, it looks perfect on a 13 x 19.
