I traveled down to New Mexico during Holy Week as I have done for three of the last four years. I go mainly to see and photograph the pilgrimage to Chimayo and then travel around the northern part of the state photographing the different churches, pueblos, towns and other sites. Here are several B&W images of these holy sites from my travels this year.

Nice set you have here.... in the Iglesia De Santa Cruz De La Canada, Santa Cruz picture, is that damage to the structure?

Stunning set! Love the last one

  4. Agree, stunning set, 1,4, and the last are my faves!

  5. An interesting set! Very special processing.
My favourites would be 4 and 6.

  6. No favourites, like them all equally, and very much!

Very nice processing too, a great match for the subjects.

  7. I'm not really a fan of the processing but the subject matter is great.

  8. Very well done, have visited this area, you have captured its essence.

    Hey, Charlie,
Can't believe I missed these last week. Wonderful pilgrimage and superb images. New Mexico is one of my favorite places and I have visited some of the sites you've shot, not as a Holy Week pilgrimage, but just as a traveler.

You really found some wonderful images, each of which speaks of your faith. Love your processing and the heart it reveals.

    Well done.

  12. I love the processing. Number 4 is my favorite.
