Thank you....interesting fact. I found out while shooting the flicker that I could choose a silent mode on camera and still have continuous shooting. I never bothered because my D4 would only shoot single shots on silent mode AFAIK. Silent mode really helps shooting shy birds.

this is kind of an important point. When you shoot in silent mode you have less mirror slap. Therefore you can use a slower shutter speed. With a camera that supports continous shooting this can be very useful in situations where you have low light.
