The best time of day indeed! Thanks for sharing, I feel like I was there.

Nice... very peaceful..
I double what Paul said and raise him one. :>)))
What a stunning shot.
Just love it - you have caputred a gorgeous shot and should have it framed and on the wall.
Hope you dont mind but I just had to play with it - hope you like my effort.
Tried to bring forward some lighting and colours.
If you prefer I will of course remove immediately.
Thanks everyone. I appreciate your comments. You had fun with the picture Ray and it is very pretty but it does not reflect that early morning feeling with the mist rising and the sun just barely there. I find it interesting though that you managed to "raise" the sun higher in the sky. It is fun to play around with pictures. Thanks again everyone
Have to agree with you that the early morning feel is lopst in my work.
Your shot really needs nothing but it was so nice just wanted to have a play with it!!
I actually replaced the sky completely hence the sun being higher.
However, as you say, not early a.m.
By the way, glad you were not offended by my try. I like and prefer your original and which for me is a truly beautiful shot.
Worth getting up early for!
Very best wishes
I must say I like both versions - the first & original for it's simple and natural beauty, the remake for turning the picture into something like a painting. Very interesting.
I like both versions as well.
You can take great pic like Virginia and do many things.
Paintings, sketches etc. Let your imagination go wild.
Yet you still have the beautiful original:>))
