Now for Something Different

  1. Made a trip solo down to the San Diego Wild Animal Park yesterday...The park was relatively empty compared to other weekend. Guess everyone was out shopping this weekend.

Shot exclusively with the 200-400VR and occasionally used a TC either the 1.4X or 1.7X. Lens will AF with 1.7X but at slower rate..
Have to say it is one heck of a sweet lens. Albiet a tad heavy...
Used fill flash most of the day.. The sun was in and out of the clouds for most of the day which made it great for certain animals.

So, for now here is only a smattering of images and more are forthcoming..

A pair of Warthogs head butting (Ain't they pretty?)
